Dave has over 35 years of technical experience in industrial leak detection and vacuum technology gained from his time at Vacuum Instruments Corp., Agilent Vacuum Technologies (Varian Vacuum), Edwards Vacuum and Pfeiffer Vacuum. Dave helped a NASA team leak test the world’s largest vacuum chamber on three different occasions in Sandusky Ohio.
Dave entered the fields of vacuum and leak detection back in 1989 with a degree in electronics engineering and is a card holding journeyman electrician. He has served his customers as a field service engineer, sales engineer, key account manager and a product manager. Traveling to support customers across North America and internationally to Europe and Asia.
Dave has expertise with rough, high and ultra-high vacuum systems A great amount of experienced with manual and automated systems. Leak Detection experience covers all helium and hydrogen test methods.
He leverages experiences such as these to provide leak detection and vacuum technology training and consulting services as the owner and president of Tracer Gas Technologies. He has led training courses at government and university labs, as well as provided leak detection and vacuum training at major manufacturers in the automotive, aerospace, alternative energy, power generation, furnace, glass, defense and other industries.
